Welcome to MyHelperIndia. By accessing or using our website at myhelperindia.com (the “Site”) or any of our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions (“Terms”). Please read them carefully before proceeding.
1. Definitions
- “We / Us / Company” refers to MyHelperIndia and its authorized representatives.
- “User / You” refers to any person who accesses the Site or engages our services, whether as an employer (family/individual looking for domestic help) or as a helper (domestic worker seeking placement).
- “Helper” means a domestic worker including but not limited to maids, cooks, drivers, babysitters, nannies, caregivers, and other similar professionals listed on our platform.
2. Services
MyHelperIndia is a placement and matchmaking platform that connects verified domestic helpers with employers across India. We offer the following services:
- Listing of reviewed and verified domestic helper profiles
- Matching services based on employer requirements
- Profile, ID proof and document review
- Subscription plans for employers and helper visibility
- HR counselling and placement support
We act as an intermediary and are not the employer of any helper listed on the platform. The employment relationship, if any, is solely between the employer and the helper.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age to use our services. By using the Site, you represent and warrant that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
4. User Obligations
As a user of our platform, you agree to:
- Provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information
- Not misrepresent your identity or purpose
- Treat helpers with dignity and respect
- Comply with all applicable labour laws, minimum wage requirements, and statutory obligations
- Not use the platform for any unlawful, fraudulent, or abusive purpose
- Not attempt to scrape, reproduce, or commercially exploit our database without written consent
5. Fees & Payments
Certain services require payment of a fee as described on our Pricing page. All fees are:
- Quoted in Indian Rupees (INR) inclusive of applicable GST
- Non-transferable to a different helper or service category unless specifically stated
- Subject to our Refund Policy
We reserve the right to revise our pricing at any time. Changes will be communicated via the Site and take effect for new purchases immediately.
6. Verification Disclaimer
Our review is limited to confirming a helper’s contact number and checking the ID proof, photograph and work details they submit. We do not carry out Aadhaar authentication, police verification or criminal-record background checks, and we cannot guarantee the accuracy of information provided by helpers. Employers are advised to exercise independent judgment, conduct their own inquiries — including police verification where required — and check references before finalising any placement.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, MyHelperIndia shall not be liable for:
- Any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from the conduct of any helper or employer
- Any damage to property or personal injury occurring after placement
- Loss of data, revenue, or business resulting from use or inability to use our platform
Our total aggregate liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the three months preceding the claim.
8. Intellectual Property
All content on the Site — including text, graphics, logos, and software — is the property of MyHelperIndia and is protected under applicable Indian copyright and intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our prior written permission.
9. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the platform at any time, without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms or any applicable law.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in New Delhi, India.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The revised version will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the Site after changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
